It is typically installed at the inlet of pressure reducing valves, relief valves, level control valves, or other equipment to remove impurities from the medium, preventing particulate matter from entering the passage and causing blockages, thereby protecting the normal operation of valves and fittings on the equipment pipeline. The y strainer brass features a "Y"-shaped structure with a strainer basket and screen inside the branch. Its function in the pipeline is to filter out solid particles from the fluid to protect downstream equipment. When fluid enters the brass strainers, the screen blocks solid particles larger than its mesh size, ensuring the fluid passing through is free of large solids. To clean the screen, unscrew the strainer cap, remove the screen, clean it, reinstall it, and tighten the cap. The maintenance process is relatively simple.

Installation Instructions
